The client was fitting out the flat for herself and came with a colour scheme already chosen. We combined her vision with what I love most: cosy, modern and with a hint of loft. The kitchen and living room got calm colours with accents, and the bathroom — lit niches and shelves exactly where they're needed.

04Decisions

Key design decisions

What I designed, and why that way.

01

A wall shelf above the toilet

Above the toilet frame I designed an open shelf in the wall — room for toiletries and plants that takes no space in a small bathroom.

02

Lit niches

I like lighting niches — here the mirror niche and the plinth under the bath got LED. In the evening the bathroom feels soft and cosy.

03

A calm base with accents

In the kitchen and living room we went for calm colours with the accent colours and patterns the client asked for — like the leaf curtains.

05Materials

Materials and workmanship

What I chose, where it came from and what we kept.

Where it came from
Many items from chain stores; some elements made to measure.

The client was fitting out the flat for herself and came to me with a ready colour scheme and a clear vision. My job was to turn it into a design for the kitchen with living room and the bathroom — so the interior would be cosy, yet modern, stylish and with a hint of loft.

In the bathroom I proposed a wall shelf for the little things and lit the mirror niche and the plinth under the bath with LEDs. In the kitchen and living room we went for a calm base with accent colours and patterns.

The project went without surprises, and the client was so happy she came back with another one. Looking for a designer for a kitchen, living room or bathroom in Łódź? Let’s talk.
