You collect the keys to white walls, bare screed and one socket per room. The design is ready before the crew arrives — installations, lighting and built-ins planned from scratch, with no demolition or do-overs.
Apartment renovation
A resale apartment or your own place after years of living in it. A survey of the existing installations, a new functional layout and documentation that gives the renovation a beginning, a plan and an end.

5 decisions worth making before the renovation
The layout on paper
Walls, doors and water points are cheapest to move on a drawing. A 2D plan in 2–3 variants shows how you'll live in the apartment before anyone picks up a hammer.
Custom built-ins instead of catalogue furniture
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, tall kitchen units and niches give you more space than ready-made furniture. Even 40 m² can hold a huge amount of storage.
Lighting planned with the wiring
Light points, circuits and sockets are set before the plastering. Any later change means chasing walls.
One language of materials
The same floor, a consistent palette and repeated materials make even a small apartment feel bigger and calmer.
Materials that survive daily life
I choose floors, fronts and worktops for kids, pets or tenants. After five years the apartment should still look freshly renovated.

How an apartment design comes together
Seven stages, and at each one you know what you get and what comes next.
Project kick-off and site survey
We start with a conversation about your needs, lifestyle and budget. You fill in a short design questionnaire, then I visit the site — taking precise measurements, photo documentation and analyzing the existing installations. The design is based on real data, not the developer's floor plan.

Material selection and moodboard
Based on the brief, I prepare a moodboard with specific finishing materials, furniture and lighting — across several price ranges. If needed, I arrange a showroom visit so you can see and touch the materials before deciding.

2D functional layout
I develop several 2D layout options with furniture, built-ins and appliances. Each version is a different way to divide and use the space. Together we choose the best layout and approve it before moving on to visualizations.
You get: 2–3 versions of 2D floor plans + an approved final layout
3D visualizations and AI animation
I create photorealistic visualizations of every room with the exact materials, furniture and lighting specified in the design. The Premium package includes an AI animation showing your interior in motion.

Technical documentation and cost estimate
I compile complete documentation for the renovation crew: wall drawings with dimensions, electrical and plumbing diagrams, and a full material specification with prices. Plus a cost estimate, so you know what everything will cost before work begins.

Realization coordination
I join the meeting with your renovation crew — walking them through the design, answering technical questions and making sure the contractors understand every detail. This eliminates errors caused by on-site improvisation.

Room styling
I visit the finished space and help with the final arrangement of furniture, decor and accent lighting. For those who want the end result to look exactly like the visualizations.

Frequently asked questions about apartment design
How much does an apartment design cost in Łódź?
It depends on the floor area and scope: the packages differ in whether you get the layout and visualizations, full technical documentation, or realization coordination as well. After looking at your floor plan at a free project quote, I'll give you an exact figure for your apartment.
How long does an apartment design take?
Basic and Standard packages: about 3–4 weeks for an apartment up to 60 m². The Premium package with realization coordination: 7–10 weeks plus the renovation time. Counted from signing the contract and handing over the floor plans.
When should I start a new-build apartment design?
Ideally 3–6 months before the planned fit-out — the developer's customization changes require a finished design. The earlier we start, the more can be optimized at no extra cost.
Do you design apartments online?
Yes — for clients outside Łódź and the Łódź region I work fully remotely. Calls over Google Meet, self-measurement with my instructions or with a local specialist's help, digital documentation. The scope is identical to working in person.
Can I order a design for just part of the apartment?
Yes — I design both whole apartments and single rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom). A whole-apartment design is more cost-effective per m², though, and gives aesthetic coherence.
