The owner had permission to open the salon, but the interior had to meet the sanitary inspection's requirements. In 80 m² I laid out manicure and pedicure areas, a treatment room to rent out, a staff kitchen, a guest toilet, reception and a waiting area — so the salon feels open, feminine and welcoming.

What I designed, and why that way.

Problem The sanitary inspection's requirements and permits forced many changes during the project.

A separate area for each service

I adapted the layout to the recommendations as they came. Each service got its own area — manicure, for instance, has a station by the window.

What I chose, where it came from and what we kept.

Where it came from
Most items from chain stores, some ordered online, and the built-ins made by a carpenter.

The beauty salon in Konstantynów Łódzki was a project where looks had to go hand in hand with regulations. The owner came to me by recommendation, with permission to open the salon in hand — but the interior had to meet the sanitary inspection’s requirements, which meant quite a few changes along the way.

Across more than 80 m² I laid out manicure and pedicure areas, a treatment room to rent out, a staff kitchen, a toilet for clients and a reception with a waiting area. The whole is open, feminine and welcoming.
